The photo series Friday's Child tells the story of resilience and vulnerability in the everyday lives of people affected by poverty in the municipality of Leeuwarden.
From late November through December 2024, the series was exhibited in a vacant storefront in the city center of Leeuwarden. Through portraits, personal stories, music, and projections, the exhibition reveals that poverty is far more than a lack of financial resources — it touches both the heart and the mind.

De fotoserie Friday's Child vertelt het verhaal van veerkracht en kwetsbaarheid in het dagelijks leven van mensen die te maken hebben met armoede in de gemeente Leeuwarden.
Van eind november tot en met december 2024 was de serie te zien in een leegstaand winkelpand in het centrum van Leeuwarden. Met portretten, persoonlijke verhalen, muziek en projecties laat de tentoonstelling zien dat armoede veel meer is dan een tekort aan financiële middelen — het raakt ook het hart en het hoofd.
